Senior Customer&Market Insights Manager

The Leader, Customer and Market Insights will provide research leadership, planning & execution, high end analytics, and strategic business analysis supporting our company’s local operating business as mobile devices manufacturer. This position is expected to bring the consumer perspective to assist in building marketing initiatives that create positive brand perceptions and increased consideration, while also assisting in Mobile Internet product related decision making. Critical skills required for this position include: Market Research, Leadership, Project Management, Analytical Thinking, Creativity, Problem-Solving, Teamwork, and Communication. 

1.Act as the primary contact person of Local Customer & Market Research in corresponding country. 
2.Provides expert insights and counsel to local smartphone industry, as well as the Mobile Internet products, include but not only the App & Games marketing trend and customer insight. 
3.Provides market-proven and effective brand positioning and business recommendations in local market. 
4.Periodically conduct new opportunities analytics throughout mobile industry, from mobile operator, to home delivery service. 
5. Independently leads method recommendation and external vendor identification and gains alignment to vendor selection and study design. 
6. Ensures timely, accurate, and appropriate application of analytical models. Leads highly complex and advanced analytical studies, including consumer and market segmentation, business driver analysis, marketing mix modeling, conjoint analysis, and mobile industry forecasts, etc. 

Basic Requirements: 
1. Bachelor’s/Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or related quantitative discipline such as economics, including training in quantitative methods and statistics. 
2. 5+ yrs. in consumer and marketing research or related areas. At least 2 yrs. in mobile or Internet industry. 
3.Working knowledge of applied statistical methods including multiple linear and nonlinear regression models, time series analysis, multidimensional scaling and mapping, nonparametric analysis, conjoint, segmentation, factor analysis, and choice-based design. 
4. Working knowledge of industry conventions in data collection and tabulation for survey research including sampling, cross-tab analysis, and multivariate weighting.  
5. Bright and intelligent; deals with concepts and complexity comfortably; described as intellectually sharp, capable, and agile. Learns quickly when facing new problems, relentless learner, open to change, improves, enjoys challenges and finding solutions 
6.Advanced presentation development skills summarizing and presenting research findings to company leadership, internal & external audience. 
7. Full ownership of research projects from start to finish, strong written and interpersonal communication skills 
8. Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, or corresponding apps on Mac, Google Suite, etc.
